Revisiting the Darkroom: November 2010

I recently took a trip to Oregon for the first time.

I spent the majority of the time in the foodie capital of the West Coast, Portland--a city filled with sustainable baby stores and brewpubs on every other corner. The food was, in fact, amazing, as was the beer--the chipotle brew from Rogue Brewery may have been my favorite. I also had a chance to visit a small town on the coast called Manzanita, as you will see in a number of the photos. The coast was like nothing I had ever seen--rocky cliffs covered in pine trees jetting out into the ocean, white sand beaches next to rocky coves and air that smelled both of cedar wood and salt water. It also only rained two days we were there! Maybe my impression of Oregon would have been quite different if that weren't the case, but as it stands now, I will most definitely return.
